Séance [2019]

Séance is a collaboration between myself and the writer Eleanor Thom [The Culture Show, Duckworth, Edinburgh Int. Book Festival]. The idea was to see what counterpoints could be created pitching an artist against a writer, both under the same writing brief.

We wrote several short, fictional stories around Edinburgh Marine Gardens, near Edinburgh's beach, Portobello. The Marine Gardens is now car showrooms and a Bus Depot for Lothian Buses. 

Our styles are very different, but perhaps this made for an entertaining night when the works were performed live.

Published by Risotto Studio, it is a commission from Art Walk Porty - a community arts organisation in East Edinburgh.
